# Bulgaria Terrorism Financing List: Direct Sourcing Replaces OMNIO Import

**[`bg_omnio_poi`](/datasets/bg_omnio_poi/) is deprecated.** Replace it with **[`bg_mft_national`](/datasets/bg_mft_national/)** plus OpenSanctions' existing UN and EU sanctions datasets by November 16th, 2026. On that date `bg_omnio_poi` is removed from the default and consolidated sanctions collections and stops receiving updates.

If you already use our UN and EU sanctions data, adding [`bg_mft_national`](/datasets/bg_mft_national/) is the only change needed — it carries everything Bulgaria-specific that `bg_omnio_poi` did.

`bg_omnio_poi` was a third-party reproduction of Bulgaria's terrorism-financing list, maintained by OMNIO Compliance in a shared Google Doc. `bg_mft_national` replaces it with a crawler that reads the consolidated PDF published directly by Bulgaria's State Agency for National Security (DANS) — an official source, monitored for change, instead of a manually maintained copy.
