In his former leadership capacity as the Minister of Healthcare, he was responsible for the use of healthcare services to repress peaceful protesters, including using ambulances to transport protesters in need of medical assistance to isolation wards rather than to hospitals. He made numerous public statements criticising the peaceful protests taking place in Belarus, on one occasion accusing a protester of being intoxicated. In his current leadership position as the Governor of the Grodno/Hrodna Region/Oblast he continues to support the Lukashenka regime.

Dans le cadre de ses anciennes fonctions dirigeantes de ministre de la santé, il était responsable de l’utilisation des services de santé pour réprimer des manifestants pacifiques, y compris en recourant à des ambulances pour transporter des manifestants ayant besoin d’une assistance médicale vers des lieux d’isolement plutôt que vers des hôpitaux. Il a fait de nombreuses déclarations publiques dans lesquelles il a critiqué les manifestations pacifiques qui se déroulaient en Biélorussie, accusant en une occasion un manifestant d’être en état d’ébriété. Au poste à responsabilités qu’il occupe actuellement en tant que gouverneur de la région/l’oblast de Grodno/Hrodna, il continue à soutenir le régime de Loukachenka.
