Head of Separate Service for Active Measures (ASAM) of the Special Forces of the State Border Committee

In his position as Head of Separate Service for Active Measures (ASAM) of the Special Forces of the State Border Committee, Ihar Kruchkou is responsible for actions of forces under his command, who are involved in the physical transportation of migrants inside Belarus to the border between Belarus and Union Member States. ASAM charges the transported migrants for the border crossing. Those actions are implemented as part of operation “Gate”. He is therefore contributing to activities by the Lukashenka regime that facilitate the illegal crossing of the external borders of the Union.

En tant que chef du service séparé des mesures actives (ASAM) des forces spéciales du Comité d’État des gardes-frontières, Ihar Kruchkou est responsable des actions des forces placées sous ses ordres, qui participent au transport physique de migrants en Biélorussie vers la frontière entre la Biélorussie et les États membres de l’Union. L’ASAM fait payer les migrants transportés pour le franchissement des frontières. Ces actions sont mises en œuvre dans le cadre de l’opération "Gate".Il contribue donc aux activités du régime de Loukachenka facilitant le franchissement illégal des frontières extérieures de l’Union.
