[AU-UNSC1373]
Australia's Counter-Terrorism (UNSCR 1373) Sanctions Regime JSONThe United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 1373 on 28 September 2001 in response to the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States. The resolution requires Australia, as a UN Member State, to suppress terrorism by implementing targeted financial sanctions against entities involved in terrorist activities. Australia implements these UNSC obligations by incorporating them into Australian law.
