Person:notesSenator of the 11th term Senate. Deputy to the 2nd and 3rd term Sejm. Born on 22 May 1952 in Lubomin. In 1976, he graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture of the Agricultural Academy in Poznań, and in 1986, he completed Post-Graduate Studies in Administration at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. From 1976 to 1982, he worked in an agricultural cooperative. Between 2002 and 2006, he was the President, Director of the “Kruszwica” Sugar Factory and a member of the Management Board of the National Sugar Company “Polski Cukier” in Toruń. From 2007 to 2014, he was a member of the Management Board and a Deputy President of the Municipal Heat Engineering Company in Włocławek. He worked as an examiner at the Inowrocław branch of the Regional Road Traffic Centre in Bydgoszcz (2006–2007). From 1982 to 1990, he served as the Head of the Town and Municipality of Lubraniec. From 1994 to 2002, he was the Mayor of Lubraniec. Between 1998 and 2024, he served as a Councillor of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region. He was decorated with: the Brown and Gold Crosses of Merit, the Medal of the Marshal of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region Unitas Durat Palatinatus Cuiaviano-Pomeraniensis, and the Medal of Honour for Services to the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region.In 2023, he received the Norbert Barlicki Local Self-Government Award.
