Person:notes | In the year 1994, I became MLA for the first time in the MUDHOL constituency, Bagalkot District, Karnataka. As promised during the election, revived the inactive “Ranna Farmers’ Cooperative Sugar Factory”. Being the founder President of the factory worked day in and day out to make it functional, thus helping the sugarcane-growing farmers to get judicious benefits to their efforts. Now it is one of the best sugar factories in the country. During this period, spearheaded in organization of “64th Akhila Bharat Sahitya Sammelan”.
