Morgan Additives Manufacturing Co. is based in the Jebel Ali Port Free Zone (Jafza) in the Emirate of Dubai and registered in the Seychelles Islands. The company is affiliated with Abdulkarim Group, and it provides facilities for the transport of materials to the Syrian regime. Currently managed by Yasser Barazi, Morgan Additives Manufacturing’s previous directors include Wael Abdulkarim and Ahmad Barqawi. Wael Abdulkarim founded the company in Seychelles and owns 60% of its shares, but about a year after its founding, he departed from the company along with Ahmad Barqawi (while documents indicate that the two had been directors from 2011 until the end of 2014). Documents obtained by newspaper The New Arab confirm that Jamal Abdulkarim, father of Wael and head of Abdulkarim Group, also owns shares in Morgan Middle East. Mohammad Fadi Abdulkarim also appears as a shareholder in a company registered in Seychelles, which bears the name Morgan Middle East and is jointly owned by Jamal and Wael Abdulkarim.
