Person:notesDans ses anciennes fonctions de substitute du procureur du tribunal du district Frunzensky à Minsk, Alina Kassiantchyk a représenté le régime de Loukachenka dans des affaires politiquement motivées contre des journalistes, des militants et des protestataires. En particulier, elle a poursuivi les journalistes Katsiaryna Bakhvalava (Andreïeva) et Daria Tchoultsova pour avoir filmé des manifestations pacifiques, sur la base d’accusations infondées de “conspiration” et de “troubles à l’ordre public”. Elle a également poursuivi des membres de la société civile biélorusse pour avoir, par exemple, participé à des manifestations pacifiques et rendu hommage à Aliaksandr Taraïkoùsky, un manifestant assassiné. Elle n’a pas eu de cesse de requérir des peines d’emprisonnement de longue durée. Elle est donc responsable de graves violations des droits de l’homme et de graves atteintes à l’état de droit, ainsi que de la répression de la société civile et de l’opposition démocratique. Person:notesIn her former position as assistant prosecutor at the Fruzensky District Court in Minsk, Alina Kasianchyk has represented the Lukashenka regime in politically motivated cases against journalists, activists and protesters. In particular, she has prosecuted journalists Katsiaryna Bakhvalava (Andreyeva) and Darya Chultsova for recording peaceful protests, based on the groundless charges of ‘conspiracy’ and ‘violating public order’. She has also prosecuted members of Belarusian civil society e.g. for taking part in peaceful protests, and paying tribute to murdered protester Aliaksandr Taraikousky. She has continuously asked the judge for long-term prison sentences. She is therefore responsible for serious human rights violations and for seriously undermining the rule of law, as well as for the repression of civil society and democratic opposition.
