Mena Crystal Sugar works in the sugar industry and has a license to import many basic goods such as flour and sugar. The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection issued Resolution No. 1440 ratifying its articles of association. It is owned by Samer Foz and co-owned by Fadia Samih Zahid, Foz’s sister-in-law and partner in Emaar Motors and another company named Assyria Al Sharq. Mena Crystal Sugar has been sanctioned by the US.
