The Ministry of Energy of Iran - MOE is responsible for policy in the energy sector and for furthering cooperation with third countries. MOE owns or controls MAPNA Group, a key player in the Iranian energy, oil and gas business.

The Ministry of Energy of Iran (MOE) is responsible for policy in the energy sector and for furthering cooperation with third countries. MOE owns or controls MAPNA Group, a key player in the Iranian energy, oil and gas business. In cooperation with the Ministry of Petroleum, MAPNA Group is involved in the exploration of gas and oil fields and therefore contributes to Iran’s oil revenues. A significant part of these revenues is allocated to the Armed Forces and SPND. Through its link to MAPNA Group, the Ministry of Energy of Iran supports Iran’s nuclear activities.

Le ministère iranien de l’énergie (MOE) est responsable de la politique dans le secteur de l’énergie et de la poursuite de la coopération avec les pays tiers. Il détient ou contrôle le groupe MAPNA, un acteur clé du secteur iranien de l’énergie, du pétrole et du gaz. En coopération avec le ministère du pétrole, le groupe MAPNA participe à l’exploration de gisements de gaz et de pétrole et, par conséquent, contribue aux recettes pétrolières de l’Iran. Une part importante de ces recettes est allouée aux forces armées et à la SPND. Par son lien avec le groupe MAPNA, le ministère iranien de l’énergie soutient les activités nucléaires de l’Iran.
