SYRIAN MILITARY INTELLIGENCE BRANCH 215 - RAIDS

Branch 215 is one of the most important and critical branches of the Military Intelligence Directorate. It is equivalent to Branch 295 of State Security. It hires around 4000 staff members trained on all special tasks of storming, kidnapping, assassination and arrest of the most wanted subjects whom other branches had failed to capture. Branch 215 is US-sanctioned. According to Jusoor for Studies, this branch oversees the cultivation of cannabis in different regions of Daraa Governorate, particularly in the cities of Nawa and Tseel.

أحد أهم فروع شعبة الاستخبارات العسكرية وأكثرها حساسية. يقابله الفرع 295 في أمن الدولة. يضم حوالي 4000 آلاف عنصر مدربين على كافة المهام الخاصة المتعلقة بعمليات الاقتحام والخطف والاغتيال وإلقاء القبض على المطلوبين المستعصين عن باقي الأفرع. مدرج في قوائم العقوبات الأمريكية. بحسب جسور للدراسات يشرف الفرع على زراعة القنب في درعا في مناطق متفرقة من المحافظة لا سيما مدن نوى وتسيل.
