Senator of the 10th and 11th term Senate. Born on 2 November 1959 in Radom. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Warsaw, Białystok Branch. He also completed prosecutor and attorney-at-law training. He worked for the Polish State Railways and the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zambrów. In 1990-1998, he was the Director of the Civic Affairs Department of the Łomża Regional Office. From 2002 to 2006, he worked at the Podlaskie Regional Office in Białystok. From 2006 to 2021, he ran a law firm providing services to local self-government bodies. From 1990 to 1998, he was a Councillor of the Zambrów City Council. From 1998 to 2006, he was a Xouncillor of the Zambrów County Council and served as the Zambrów County Head (1998-2002). In 2006-2019, he was a member of the Podlaskie Regional Assembly, and from 2018, the Deputy Chair of the Assembly. In the 10th term Senate, he served as the Deputy Chair of the Local Self-Government and State Administration Committee. He is active in the Voluntary Fire Service (OSP). He serves as the Deputy Chair of the Management Board of the OSP Podlasie Chapter, as the Chair of the Management Board of the OSP County Chapter in Zambrów, and as the Chair of the Chief OSP Court of Honour. He is the Deputy President of the Association of Catholic Families of the Łomża Diocese. He sits on the Council of the Father Krzysztof Kluk Museum of Agriculture in Ciechanowiec and chairs the Council of the Museum of Nature – the Lutosławski Manor in Drozdowo. He was awarded, among others, the Gold Cross of Merit, the Centenary of National Independence Commemorative Medal, the “Long-Time Service” Silver Medal, the “Meritorious Service to Fire Protection” Gold Medal, the “Meritorious Service to Firefighting” Gold Medal, the “Podlaskie Florian Cross” Golden Badge of Honour, the Commander Cross of the St. Florian Badge, and the “Meritorious Service to National Defence” Silver Medal. He is the co-author of a book entitled “Firefighters of Zambrów County.” Member of the Law and Justice party and a county representative of that party.
