Senator of the 4 th, 7 th, 8th, 9 th and 10 th term Senate He was born on 1 November 1959 in Gniewoszów. In 1985, he graduated from the Canon and Secular Law Faculty of the Catholic University of Lublin. In the years 1985-1990, he took part in a doctoral course (sociology section) at the Faculty of Social Sciences of that university. He was an advisor on social affairs at Wojciech Włodarczyk’s Deputy’s office between 1992 and 1993. In the years 1995-1997, he worked in the sales and marketing department of Telekom Puchaczów SA based in Łęczna, a company of the Netia group. Between 2002 and 2006, he was a Councillor of the Sejmik of Lubelskie Voivodeship and served as the Deputy Marshal of that voivodeship twice (2002-2003, 2005-2006). In the 4 th term Senate he served as the Deputy Chairman of the Legislation Committee. He served as the Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee in the 8 th term Senate. In the 9 th term Senate he was the Chairman of the Legislation Committee. He served as the Deputy Chairman of the Emigration Affairs and Contacts with Poles Abroad Committee. He is a member of NSZZ ‘Solidarność’, Związek Piłsudczyków (Piłsudski Supporters’ Association) and the Association of Alumni and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin. Member of the Law and Justice party.
