Senator of the 7 th, 8 th, 9 th and 10 th term Senate He was born on 2 January 1953 in Rząśnik Szlachecki. In 1978, he graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering of the Łódź University of Technology. In 2008, he completed post-graduate studies in management in industry at the Łódź University of Technology and in 2010 – in basic law for entrepreneurs at the University of Łódź. In the period 1978-1980, he worked in the Voivodeship Housing Cooperative in Piotrków Trybunalski. Since 1980, he has been employed in the Bełchatów Lignite Coal Mine in Rogowiec (at present PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A. Oddział KWB Bełchatów). Initially, he was a shift foreman there, then a department and section manager, and since 2006 he has held the position of director of the Engineering and Construction Works Department of the mine. After the restructuring process, he worked as Chief Branch Specialist – Head of Department. In the years 2006-2007, he was a Councillor of the Sejmik of Łódzkie Voivodeship. In the 9 th term Senate, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee. He is married, has three children and six grandchildren. Member of the Law and Justice party and its Political Council.
