Descriptions

Senator of the 9th, 10th and 11th term Senate. Born on 13 July 1945 in Verkhnie Vysotske, Ukraine. In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the Higher School of Teacher Education (today the Jan Kochanowski University) in Kielce. He began his professional career in the 1960s in Gorzowskie Przedsiębiorstwo Budownictwa Przemysłowego, an industrial construction company, in Gorzów Wielkopolski, where his posts included the Export Department Manager. In the 1980s, he worked in the “Budimex” Foreign Trade Centre as the Ambassador’s Representative for Construction Contracts in the German Democratic Republic. He is a former Chair of the Management Board of Przedsiębiorstwo Budowlano-Usługowe Interbud-West sp. z o.o., a construction and service company, in Gorzów Wielkopolski (1990-2005), and the Chair of its Supervisory Board since 2005. Formerly, he owned the “Władkom. Władysław Komarnicki” company. He was also a member of the Supervisory Boards of the “Energoinstal” company in Katowice and the Speedway Ekstraliga in Bydgoszcz. From 2014 to 2015, he served as a member of the Lubuskie Regional Assembly and held the post of its Deputy Chair. In the 9th and 10th term Senate, he was the Deputy Chair of the National Economy and Innovation Committee. In 1990, he was one of the founders of the National Construction Chamber in Warsaw, serving as member of its Management Board until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, he was a member of the Council of the Western Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gorzów Wielkopolski. From 2009 to 2011, he served as the Marshal of Lubuskie Economic Assembly. He is an honorary member of the Association for People with Autism and St. Camillus Hospice Association in Gorzów Wielkopolski. He sits on the Management Board of the Lubuskie Association for Energy Development in Zielona Góra. He also is the Honorary President of the Stal Gorzów Wielkopolski sport club; in 2001-2012, he was the Deputy President and then the President of this club. He was decorated with the Officer’s Cross and Commander’s Cross of the Polonia Restituta Order, and the “Meritorious Service to the Lubuskie Region” Honorary Badge. Member of the Civic Platform party.
