Description	Professor Nelson Lam was appointed the Director of Audit on 1 July 2022. Professor Lam is now 54. He is a practising accountant for over 30 years in a number of accountancy firms. He was the founder and founding Chairman of the Nelson and Company, CPA established in 2005. He was also the former President of the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors, and former Vice President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
