He then may have boarded a bus to Atlanta, Georgia, and then traveled on to Charlotte, North Carolina. On November 14, 2022, Dixon was charged with murder in the New Rochelle City Court, New York, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Dixon on March 8, 2024, in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York, White Plains, New York, after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
