In 1993, a criminal court in Harris County, TX convicted BOCANEGRA-Lupian of homicide and sentenced him to life in prison. In August 2012, he was transferred to ICE ERO custody, and he was removed to Mexico for the first time. BOCANEGRA-Lupian illegally re-entered the U.S., and in November 2019, ICE again removed him to Mexico.
