Operators highlight the Zhmil-17’s 1,5 kg airframe weight, low acoustic signature, and FPV guidance via encrypted radio links, making it cost-effective compared to imported equivalents. Molot Arms reported 2024 revenues of 926 million roubles and net profits of 49 million roubles, reflecting its wartime expansion. In addition to in-house assembly, the company cooperates with regional electronics firms in Kirov for the production of navigation modules and control systems, ensuring continuity of supply despite restrictive measures. Deliveries to the Russian Ministry of Defence are accompanied by technical training teams and localised support, underscoring the company’s integration into the military-industrial base.
