These “elections” are in breach of Ukrainian law and therefore illegal. The chairmanship of “Luganskiy Economicheskiy Soyuz” is currently occupied by Zinaida Nadion, who is a Deputy of the “People’s Council of the LPR”. L’organisation a également été impliquée dans les activités de recrutement du parti Russie unie dans les territoires annexés.
