Ces “élections” violent la loi ukrainienne et sont par conséquent illégales. Depuis le 17 février 2018, le président de l’organisation est Leonid PASECHNIK, et elle est donc associée à une personne désignée par le Conseil. L’organisation a également été impliquée dans les activités de recrutement du parti Russie unie dans les territoires annexés. En juillet 2022, le mouvement public “Paix pour la région de Louhansk” a signé un accord de coopération avec le parti “Russie unie” et a joué un rôle clé dans les activités de “Russie unie” dans les territoires annexés. These “elections” are in breach of Ukrainian law and therefore illegal. Since 17 February 2018, the chairperson of the organisation is Leonid PASECHNIK and therefore associated with a person designated by the Council. It has also been involved in recruitment activities of the United Russia Party in annexed territories. In July 2022 the public movement “Peace to Luhansk Region” signed a cooperation agreement with the “United Russia” party and has been key to activities of “United Russia” in the annexed territories.
