Xiamen Limbach Aviation Engine Co., Ltd has delivered such components to IEMZ Kupol, a subsidiary of Russian state-owned arms company Almaz-Antey, which subsequently were used for manufacturing long-range attack drones of the type Garpiya-3 (G3) for use in Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. Those deliveries were made through other entities registered in the People’s Republic of China, notably Redlepus TSK Vektor Industrial (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd and Juhang Aviation Technology Shenzhen Co. Ltd. It is also suspected that Xiamen Limbach was involved in sharing L550 engine design with entities involved in producing Shahed-136 unmanned aerial vehicle engines. Shahed drones have been used by the Russian military in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
