LegalEntity:notes | JSC Automobile Plant ‘URAL’ is a Russian manufacturer of trucks and one of the main suppliers of armored trucks for the Russian armed forces. Automobile Plant URAL is involved in the Russia’s large vehicle Typhoon program. Typhoon is a Russian family of Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) in service since 2014. Typhoon family trucks are registered in the Russian State Arms Program. These vehicles are assembled at the Automobile Plant URAL under a state contract with the Russian Ministry of Defence. Ural Automobile Plant produces Ural – 4320 and Typhoon vehicles, which are being used by the Russian Armed Forces during the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine in 2022. The Automobile Plant URAL is therefore responsible for supporting materially actions which undermined or threatened the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. The Automobile Plant URAL benefits from the war of aggression of Russia against Ukraine as it contributes to the supply of armored trucks to the Russian Armed Forces and benefits from the growing need for arms.
