LegalEntity:notes | JSC “Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering” (JSC TsNIITochMash) is part of State Corporation Rostec and is known for its scientific and technical activities in the field of development and production of weapons and military equipment for various branches of the Russian Armed Forces. More than 150 models and complexes of small arms, artillery, anti-tank weapons, combat technical means and ammunition of various types have been developed, mastered in serial production and transferred to the armament and supply of the Russian Army, Airborne Forces, Air Force, Navy and special units of law enforcement agencies under the leading role of JSC TsNIITochMash. Among the known most unusual weapons created under the lead role of JSC TsNIITochMash are underwater weapons (4.5 mm SPS cartridge and SPP-1 underwater pistol, 5.66 mm MPS cartridge and APS underwater firing rifle), silent weapons (PSS-SP4 pistol system), weapons to equip anti-terrorism units (SR1M semi-automatic pistol with SP10 cartridge /“Gyurza”/, SR-2 submachine gun and the small-size SR-3 /“Vikhr”/ assault rifle) and second-generation combat outfits “Ratnik”. JSC TsNIITochMash comprises research, design, production units and industry testing facilities. Therefore, JSC TsNIITochMash is responsible for supporting materially actions which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
