During the Army-2024 military forum, ODK-UMPO made a deal on a 27,5 billion rouble injection from Rostec State Corporation to support its ongoing operations, further reinforcing its strategic importance. ODK UMPO’s parent company UEC produces engines for Su-27, Su-30, Su-35S, Su-57 and Su-25 aircraft. ODK-UMPO’s primary output includes turbojet engines such as the AL-31F, AL-41F-1S, R-95Sh and R-195, which are integral to those frontline fighter jets. The Russian Ministry of Defence has directly commissioned ODK-UMPO to develop a unified AL-41F-1S engine for use in fourth-generation Su-series aircraft.
