Rosimuschestvo is responsible for taking control over multiple Western assets with Decree No. 302 “On Temporary Management of Certain Property” signed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. That decree was signed to ensure the stable functioning of the Russian energy sector and the uninterrupted operation of companies significant for the Russian economy. In addition, Rosimuschestvo contributes significantly to the revenue of the Russian Federation. As Head of Rosimuschestvo, Vadim Yakovenko is supporting, materially and financially, and benefitting from the Government of the Russian Federation, which is responsible for the annexation of Crimea and the destabilisation of Ukraine. Furthermore, Rosimuschestvo is actively involved in contributing aid to the activities of the Russian Federation in the occupied Ukrainian territories of Donbas.
