He is a member of the Polish Society of Neurology, the Doctor’s Trade Union of Poland, and the Association of County Hospitals of the Śląskie Region. In 2001, he won the Polish basketball championship for physician teams. In 2019, she served as a member of the Śląskie Regional Assembly. In the 10th term Senate, he was the Deputy Chair of the Science, Education and Sport Committee and the Health Committee. He served as the Chair of the Polish Socialist Party Parliamentary Group until 12 January 2023. Married, with two children.
