Business Identifier Code (BIC) Reference Data

Banks and other financial institutions matched against the SWIFT BIC (ISO 9362) reference data.

BIC is the International Standard ISO 9362:2014. This standard specifies the elements and structure of a universal identifier code, the business identifier code (BIC), for financial and non-financial institutions, for which such an international identifier is required to facilitate automated processing of information for financial services.

This enricher matches risk-linked entities (sanctioned, PEP-linked, etc.) in the database against the global ISO 9362 BIC reference data published by ISO/SWIFT. Matches expand the target entities with their SWIFT BIC and registered/operational addresses.
