Export and service restrictions to Russia, Belarus, and designated third-country entities under Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law.
Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) requires approval for certain exports and services to Russia, Belarus, and specified regions under the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law, with approvals generally denied except in limited cases. Restrictions apply to specific goods and technologies, as well as transactions involving designated entities.
