Companies database of the Russian Federation as maintained and published by the Federal Tax Service.
The tax database of legal entities is probably the most detailed part of the companies registry (other fragments are maintained by the statistics body and others). The registry data must be purchased from the tax authority, but a full version of it has been released online by a Russian IT entrepreneur.
This snapshot is dated 2022-01-01, in order to meet a compromise between using fresh data, and avoiding information loss via intra-war data removals.

Russian Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) is an external database that is used to enrich the data in OpenSanctions with additional details and connections.
This means that we have only included entities where there is a connection (e.g. to a sanctions target or a politician) and we are not reproducing the database in full.
Data from Russian Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) is included in the collections listed above. However, since the enrichment data only makes sense in conjunction with the entities it relates to, we are not offering it for bulk download separately.
OpenSanctions is free for non-commercial users. Businesses must acquire a data license to use the dataset.
