Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) pursuant to section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).
Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) are entities designated by the U.S. Secretary of State under Section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). It is unlawful to knowingly provide these organizations with material support or resources. Non-citizen members of FTOs may be denied entry into, or removed from, the United States. Additionally, U.S. financial institutions are required to block and report any assets associated with these organizations to the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
