Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi is the Commander of Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, which oversees coordination between the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army. As Commander he oversees, coordinates and plans all Iranian military operations that involve multiple branches of the Iranian Armed Forces, such as the Police, IRGC and Army. Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters therefore also plays a significant role in the roll-out of widespread crackdowns and repression with the use of excessive violence. Under Aliabadi’s command of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the Iranian Armed Forces have arrested, beaten, tortured and killed Iranians. Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi is therefore responsible for serious human rights violations in Iran.
