Member of the Eleventh Term Senate. Born on 30 August 1956 in Warsaw. In 1979, he graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. In 1986, he completed his legal training. From 1989 to 1992, he was a judge of the Disciplinary Court of the Warsaw Bar Association. From 1992 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2001, he was a member of the District Bar Council in Warsaw, chairing the Ethics Committee. From 2001 to 2007 he also served as dean of this Council. From 2004 to 2007, he headed the Arbitration Court at the District Bar Council in Warsaw. From 2010 to 2016, he was vice-president and from 2016 to 2021 - president of the Supreme Bar Council. He was a lecturer for the training of attorney trainees and a mediator of the Court of Arbitration at the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. From 1982 to 1983 he was active in the Primate's Committee for Aid to Persons Deprived of Liberty and Their Families. From 2017 to 2021, he was a member of the Social Codification Commission.
