Senator of the 10th and 11th term Senate. Deputy to the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th term Sejm. Born on 17 May 1954 in Dąbrowa Górnicza. In 1979, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in Zabrze. She also completed post-graduate studies in healthcare management at the Jagiellonian University. She became a first- and second-degree specialist in ENT. In 1999, she received a doctoral degree in medical sciences. From 1980 to 1996, she worked as an ENT doctor. From 1996 to 2001, she served as the Deputy Director for Therapies at the Healthcare Centre in Dąbrowa Górnicza, and between 2001 and 2005, as the Director of the Chief Specialist Hospital in that city. In 1994-1998, she was a Councillor of the Dąbrowa Górnicza Commune Council. In 2015, she was appointed the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Health as the Government Plenipotentiary for the Public Health Act Bill. In the 8th term Sejm, she was the Deputy Chair of the Health Committee. In the 10th term Senate, she served as the Chair of the Health Committee. Member of the Civic Platform party. She is a member of the Silesian Regional Board and leads the Civic Platform local structures in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
