Senator of the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th term Senate. Deputy to the 6th term Sejm. Born on 26 September 1955 in Zawoja. In 1981, he graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. From 1982 to 1983, he worked as a process engineer at the Compact Car Factory in Bielsko-Biała. From 1984 to 1990, he was a teacher at the Mechanical Schools Complex in Sucha Beskidzka. Between 1990 and 1998, he was a Councillor of the Zawoja Commune Council and also served as the Commune Head. From 1998 to 2011, he was a Councillor of the Sucha Beskidzka County Council, and from 1999 to 2011, the County Head. In the 9th term Senate, he was the Deputy Chair of the Local Self-Government and State Administration Committee. Member of the Law and Justice party.
