Member of the Eleventh Term Senate. Member of the Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Term Sejm. Born on 21 September 1957 in Piława Górna. In 1982, he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Higher School of Engineering in Opole (with a specialisation in electrical energy conversion and utilisation). From 1982 to 1986, he worked as a digital machine maintenance technician at the Electronic Computing Technology Plant (Zakład Elektronicznej Techniki Obliczeniowej, ZETO) in Opole. From 1986 to 1991, he managed his own company, and from 1991 to 1997, he was President of the Board of Directors of the “Fart” Production, Service and Trading Company. From 2013 to 2018, he was engaged as a director at the Provincial Land Reclamation and Water Devices Plant in Opole. From 2018 to 2023, he was a representative of the Marshal of the Opole Voivodeship for climate issues. Between 1997 and 2015, he held a seat in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. During the Fifth Term, he was Deputy Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee. From 2007 to 2013, he held the position of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Infrastructure and subsequently at the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy. From 1994 to 1997, he was a councillor in the Opole City Council. He was president of the Odra Opole sport club (1995–1996), vice-president of the Opole Chamber of Commerce (1996–1997). Until 2018, he took part in 36 marathons. Member of the Civic Platform.
