Vicente Azpitarte Pérez (Granada, 1983). Periodista y Senador de la XIII y XV Legislatura. Entre 2019 y 2023 ejerció como Delegado del Gobierno de la Junta de Andalucia en Madrid. Como periodista fue Jefe de Prensa de la Selección nacional de Baloncesto; trabajó durante una década para el Grupo Libertad Digital-esRadio como Jefe de Deportes y colaboró asiduamente para medios de comunicación como Ondacero o El Mundo. Fue portavoz de Deportes en el Senado y miembro de la PESC (Política Exterior de Seguridad Común). Ha sido profesor en diferentes másters y ha sido nombrado profesor máster Honoris Causa por la Escuela de Comunicación de Granada (ESCO) donde egresó también en periodismo. Es autor de la biografía traducida a numerosos idiomas del jugador del Real Madrid, Luka Modric.
