Organised job fairs in various districts of Tamil Nadu which began as an experiment in June 2008 at Kariyapatti, a village in Virudhnagar District; by March 2010, Job Fairs held in rural areas in five districts, namely, Nagarcoil, Vellore, Udhagamandalam, Tiruchirappali and Virudhnagar; by February 2019, Job Fairs held in various districts, provided jobs to over one lakh thirty two thousand unemployed youth spread across Southern Districts of Tamil Nadu; October 2009 to October 2012,(i) Member, General Assembly of ICCR;(ii) Board of Governors of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, April 2016 onwards. Unanimously elected President of The Hindu office and National Press Employees Union in May 2024. This is her third consecutive term as a President of the Union.
