Footnote 34 (p. 112) in the UN Panel of Experts March 2014 report states "Current owner is Jing Yu International Trading Company Limited (Hong Kong). [...]". The footnote is attached to Korea Ikal Shipping, the operator/manager of the "I Kal". It is unclear if this footnote indicates that Jing Yu International Trading is the registered owner of the "I Kal" as of March 2014. On Equasis, the "I Kal" profile with the ascertained IMO 8976891 does not list Jing Yu International Trading as a (previous) owner.
The IMO number for this vessel is not clearly mentioned in the UN Panel of Experts reports. The IMO number was discovered by cross-referencing the vessel's information that is in the UN Panel of Experts reports with the data available on Equasis.
