State Security Branch of Daraa (Branch 315)

أحد فروع جهاز المخابرات العامة. توجد فيه أقسام مشابهة للفروع المركزية بدمشق، وتتمتع بنفس اختصاصاتها ولها نفس عملها لكن في حدود المحافظة. ويتبع لكل فرع منها أقسام ومفارز تتوزع في مختلف أرجاء المحافظة، ولكل بلدة أو قرية عنصر أمني مسؤول عنها وعن إجراء الدراسات الأمنية فيها وعن عمليات الاستدعاء للفروع الأمنية. يرأسه حالياً العميد "محمد عقاب" الذي طالب بتهجير جميع أعضاء لجنة درعا البلد المركزية إلى الشمال السوري، كشرط لتنفيذ اتفاق التسوية مع أهالي درعا.

The State Security branch of Daraa (Branch 315) is a branch of the General Intelligence Service. It has similar departments to those of the central branches in Damascus, and they have the same subject-matter jurisdiction and the same functions but within the governorate. Each branch has departments and detachments that operate across the governorate. Each town or village has a security officer in charge, responsible for the summonses by security branches and for making security reports. Branch 315 is currently headed by Brigadier General Muhammad Iqab. Iqab demanded that all members of Daraa’s Central Negotiations Committee be displaced to the north of Syria as a condition for implementing the settlement agreement with the people of Daraa.
