Bidaya Group is a multi-sector company that has the legal right to establish projects in Syria with an independent financial and administrative entity. The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection issued Resolution No. 648, in which it ratified the articles of association of Bidaya Group on 25 November 2020. The ministry later approved the amendment of said articles of association via Resolution No. 3275, whereby the provisions changed the name of the company from Khiti Holding Group to Bidaya Group. The company has an independent financial and administrative entity, and is licensed to establish projects and carry out all activities permitted to it by law (industrial, agricultural, service, commercial, tourism, real estate and transport). It may also enter into partnerships with others in establishing JSC’s or LLC’s, as well as owning shares, bonds and stocks stipulated in the Enterprise Law (a.k.a Company Law). As Khiti Holding, the company was subject to US sanctions, and its name was changed to Bedaya Group with the purpose of evading US sanctions.
