Since 2014, Northern Shipping Company has been an active participant in a major logistics chain developing Arctic infrastructure at the request of russia’s Ministry of Defense. br The company also conducts maritime carriage of cargo on a contractual basis for the designated State Unitary Enterprise "State Grain Operator" (ГУП "Государственный зерновой оператор", TIN/INN 9001011019), registered in the temporarily occupied territory (TOT) of Zaporizhzhia Region, Ukraine (Melitopol). br Northern Shipping Company has been implicated in grain theft schemes involving vessels including IMO 9077575, IMO 9376440, and IMO 8502080, among others. br On November 25, 2025, Ukraine imposed sanctions on the vessel. | [sources] | |||
