Le 17 mars 2014, le “Parlement de Crimée” a adopté la résolution no 1757-6/14 “sur la nationalisation de certaines entreprises appartenant aux ministères ukrainiens de l’infrastructure ou de l’agriculture” déclarant l’appropriation des avoirs de l’entreprise publique “Port maritime commercial de Sébastopol” au nom de la “République de Crimée”. Cette entreprise a donc de fait été confisquée par les “autorités” de Crimée. En 2023, il a été annoncé que la propriété de l’entreprise unitaire d’État de la ville de Sébastopol “Port maritime de Sébastopol” serait transférée à la Fédération de Russie. En termes de volume d’échanges, il s’agit du plus grand port maritime commercial de Crimée.
