Belgium Members of the Senate

This dataset contains persons who serve or have served as members of the Belgian Federal Senate (Belgische Senaat / Sénat de Belgique), the upper house of the federal Parliament. Since the sixth state reform the Senate is composed of 60 senators: 50 designated by the parliaments of the communities and regions (federated-entity senators) and 10 co-opted senators.

The crawler walks the per-legislature member lists published by the Senate, covering the current term and earlier terms within the politically-exposed relevance window. For each senator the dataset captures their full name, political group affiliation, place and date of birth where stated in the published biography, and a link to their profile page.
