Bhutan Parliament

Current and former members of both chambers of Bhutan's Parliament.

Bhutan's Parliament is the bicameral national legislature established under the 2008 Constitution. It comprises the National Council (Gyelyong Tshogde), a 25-seat upper house, and the National Assembly (Gyelyong Tshogdu), a 47-seat lower house.

The dataset lists members of both chambers across every parliamentary term since the first Parliament was convened in 2008, covering sitting members as well as those who served in earlier terms. National Council seats are filled by one elected member per dzongkhag (district), together with five members appointed by the King; National Assembly members represent single-member constituencies.
