Egypt Members of the Senate

Members of the Senate (مجلس الشيوخ, Majlis al-Shuyukh), the upper chamber of Egypt's bicameral parliament. Two thirds of its members are directly elected — half of those from individual-candidacy constituencies and half from closed party lists — and one third is appointed by the President, each serving a five-year term. Unlike the House of Representatives, the Senate has an advisory role: it gives its opinion on constitutional amendments, draft laws and the state's development plans.

Elected members come from the National Election Authority's election results, and the presidential appointees from the State Information Service (الهيئة العامة للاستعلامات), the government's official information agency. Coverage spans the chamber's terms since its re-establishment in 2020. Each term's members are listed as the chamber was constituted after the election and are not updated for later deaths, resignations or by-elections, so whether a member of the current term still holds the seat is unknown. For the 2020–2025 term only members elected in the first round of voting are included; the runoff winners and the presidential appointees are missing.
