It covers actions, arrests, convictions, and operations related to major criminal threats such as money laundering, modern slavery, drug trafficking, organised immigration crime, fraud, and asset denial. The dataset aggregates items from multiple news categories published under the NCA's News section.
Press releases are filtered by topic to focus on organized and financially motivated crime. Articles related to firearm offenses, local drug enforcement, and child exploitation are excluded as they fall outside OpenSanctions' core scope.
