Appointed members and presiding officers of Saudi Arabia's consultative assembly
Current members of the Shura Council (Majlis al-Shura), the consultative assembly of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The council consists of a Speaker and 150 members, all appointed by royal order for a four-year term. It reviews and proposes legislation, studies international treaties and government reports, and gives its opinion on state policy, while final legislative authority rests with the King and the Council of Ministers.
The Speaker, Vice Speaker and Assistant Speaker are included alongside the members.
