Oleg Gorshenin is a member and secretary of the working group established by President Putin in Dec 2022 that is tasked with coordinating the mobilization efforts of the Russian Federation to support its war of aggression against Ukraine. Beyond his role in the working group he serves as the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation in the rank of Major General which is tasked with coordinating activities of the Russian military forces including those deployed in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
