In his position of Chief Spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Defence, he has been responsible for manipulating information and spreading disinformation about Russian military actions in Ukraine. He promoted a positive attitude to Russia’s unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine, the annexation of Crimea and the actions of separatists in Donbas, portrayed the situation in Ukraine in a biased manner and spread disinformation about Ukrainian and Western activities.

Therefore, he is responsible for actively supporting or implementing actions or policies which undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, or stability or security in Ukraine.

Il a promu une attitude positive à l’égard de la guerre d’agression non provoquée menée par la Russie contre l’Ukraine, de l’annexion de la Crimée et des actions des séparatistes dans le Donbass, a décrit la situation en Ukraine de manière partiale et a diffusé des éléments de désinformation sur les activités ukrainiennes et occidentales. Il est donc responsable de soutenir activement ou de mettre en œuvre des actions ou des politiques compromettant ou menaçant l’intégrité territoriale, la souveraineté et l’indépendance de l’Ukraine, ou la stabilité ou la sécurité en Ukraine.
